How do Ride-Rite springs work? Firestone 2153 Ride-Rite air springs (commonly called Ride-Rite air springs) install between your motorhome or cutaway truck's suspension and frame. They use a pair of convoluted air springs that can be individually tweaked to accommodate off-center loads. After your truck's air springs are properly adjusted, they work to smooth out your ride by absorbing road vibrations and lessening interleaf friction. You'll feel like you're driving on a cloud of air. On top of providing ride comfort, Ride-Rite 2153 air springs work to heighten your safety on the road. They help balance the truck or motorhome to level headlight beams, reduce tire wear, and support braking and steering responsiveness.
