Additional Info

Unbalanced loads and difficult loads are a constant reality. That's one reason we designed Coil-Rite air springs. Coil-Rite levels and stabilizes your car to assist in more effective handling and braking, even when handling poor road conditions and heavy loads. As a result, properly installed Coil-Rite car air springs also help level headlight beams and promote even tire wear.

Coil-Rite air springs are designed for cars with coil spring suspensions. They sit within the existing coil springs to generate a variable spring rate. A variable spring rate means you'll experience a higher spring rate in loaded conditions and a slower spring rate in unloaded conditions. What's the benefit? A gentler journey for everyone inside your car, and more support and control as you drive.

Is Firestone Coil-Rite installation pretty straightforward? It sure is. Coil-Rite air spring kits are packed with everything you need for a fast, hassle-free installation. A majority of Firestone Coil-Rite car kits are no-drill, and most kits take about one to two hours to install. Coil-Rite air helper springs are manufactured out of elastic polyurethane and fasten to your vehicle's current spring seats. Air compressors, air tanks, gauges, and switches are sold separately. Purchase the right air accessories for your vehicle to inflate and deflate your car air springs from the comfort of your cab.

Once installed, your Coil-Rite air springs are easy to adjust so you can maintain a smooth ride and even load distribution. Maintaining a centered load helps curb body roll and enhance vehicle stability. By softening the interaction between your car's frame and axles and absorbing road shock, Coil-Rite air springs also help prevent bottoming out.

And with Coil-Rite air springs, you don't have to worry about shifting seasons standing in your way of the road ahead. Coil-Rite air helper springs are designed to continue performing in temperatures between -40F (-40C) and 180F (82C). North or south, summer or winter— drive your car where you want, when you want.

Firestone Coil-Rite air springs support 500 - 2,100 lbs. per set but will not increase your car's weight-carrying capacity. Check your vehicle manufacturer's recommended weight limit before towing or hauling any load. Keep in mind that this kit, W237604103, is not in-bed hitch compatible.
